Is this even legal? It’s a mandatory “training” where all marketing personnel are required to video record themselves and narrate a story based on a script. In my opinion, this is a North Korean-style approach to engaging employees and creating a false perception of the company’s success, all while everyone is overworked, poorly managed, and laid off every six months!

Rome is burning. They're fa----g around with "story telling"? Aren't there better things for marketing to do like ...... SELL PRODUCTS. Here is the story:
"There once was a decently profitable company that many people enjoyed working for. An evil king conquered the kingdom and added more territory one by one. Each conquest contributed Crown Jewels and fertile land. The king confiscated the jewels and stockpiled them in his castle. No one ever go to see them or touch them and everyone forgot they were there. He te--orized the people who were just trying to survive with content fear, shortages, constant political e-mails and egotistical rants. The people had to constantly pay homage to the king so the land was neglected and taken over by thorns since no one had time to tend to it. A famine swept the land, spreading throughout. Misery increased, the population of the kingdom shrank every year. Except for the main castle, whose main occupant remained happy and fat. One day, the king stepped out with his brand new crown, robe and regalia. His staff assured him the new strategy and AI marketing message was a winner - no one would ever know there was no there there. The board came to gaze upon his amazingness and asked where the bounty and spoils of his pillaging and theft from his subjects were. But alas! He came up short. He had squandered all of the recently acquired assets. He didn't make plan and all of his expansion, fighting, stealing and spreading of misery yielded nothing but declines. Not clouds but vapor.
All of his royal aides, who praised his beautiful garments, were forced to admit the King had been nu-e for quite some time, much to the horror of everyone around him. For the crimes of running a kingdom into the ground, spreading misery to all and toying with peoples livelihoods and mental health - the king was finally overthrown and banished. But not soon enough.
As a new conqueror rides in and divides the spoils of his kingdom, those left behind are uncertain and fearful. Perhaps there is sunshine behind the clouds?"
