I hope they cleaned house in MMS because this business unit ever since it was acquired as part of CON FUSION it’s been nothing but a virus. Consent decree still there .. no results .. just arrogant San Diego engineers and leaders who aren’t delivering sh* sell this entire sh-t show .. never integrated just brought their loosely goosey con fusion processes with them hence why they have a consent decree and bd did not .. I can’t wait for this entire thing to collapse

@1qg what about employees? Hope they are safe. This mental torture every year is one of the reasons this company is struggling. People are now afraid of raising concerns and all will align with effing leadership even if they see wrong being done.

Many contractors in MMS were laid off, most of them with only 2-3 days notice.

@1hd Nope! They will just give you the additional 60 days of severence for not filing the notice.

Wouldn’t a WARN notice need to be filed if layoffs are as big as you’ve heard?

@1ef

sad, very unorganized, poorly managed, unstable company. Because of poor incompetent people at the top, good people suffer.

I've heard that it will be a bloodbath for MMS San Diego. Not good at all.

@19e

This year it is going to be big numbers I am hearing. If we really need to fire some, hope we only target those who are slowing the company down.

Removal of one useless leader can save 4-5 effective resources. It will save money and make the organization efficient. So, double benefit.

The BD 2025 program was supposed to improve stakeholder value, but it ended up delivering negative results. In fact, without it, we could have saved money and maybe even seen a slight boost in the stock price. What’s worse, no one is willing to take responsibility for its failure. Now, the same shameless group of people are bragging about launching yet another program.

Unless incompetent bunch is removed, this yearly layoff will continue, genuine people will continue to suffer.

100% agree to both comments! Layoffs should be prior to end of fiscal year which is this month. Anxiously awaiting.

BD. Looks like huge layoff is coming. My suggestion, flatten the structure.
No modern company has those many non-working layers.
