I’ve heard that an acquisition may be back or at least for part of DXC. The reporting date of October 28 has been mentioned around the halls as a big announcement day so either mass workforce reductions, yet another restructure or acquisition - there is definitely something brewing - it’s all too quiet!

@kq If that's the case then why is Drumgoole posting about DXC on LinkedIn? Doesn't pass the sniff test.
Both CES and GIS are finalizing their new operating model at this moment. It was designed independently from one another; another attempt to make one DXC. The “topleaders” from both CES and GIS were recently replaced. Sth is brewing. Q2 results are to be presented early Nov.
You're full of sh-t. No one is gonna buy this cr-p
The current share price doesn’t suggest there is anything happening with regards to potential mergers or acquisitions. Quite the opposite if anything.
Well 28th October is the next quarterly reporting date and typically any big stuff gets announced just before that. Big stuff being sell offs, purchases or large scale restructure.
I'd doubt it will be a surprise restructure as they put annual numbers out for such costs and the investors do not like surprises...
Could be a purchase or sell off though.
I'd say purchase was more likely at this point.
@OP I agree leadership have been quiet recently but that could just be because they are hopeless and care as little about DXC as staff do. What actual facts to do you have that something is happening?
Do not really give a damn. I was happily fired recently. Companies like DXC are owned by nobody, nobody really care if it's future and all what leaders are doing is trying to fill their pockets during their short mandate. On the same page, the employees realize that it's gonna be same if they worked with minimal or maximal effort - the outcome would be same on their paycheck so everyone defaults to minimal contribution. System like this is destined to fail sooner and later and I am so happy I managed to squeeze out my generous severance before jumping into the next job
