Layoffs across the USA as kyndryl’s new US president Rutledge is demanding grow or else mindset; senior mgt is being shuffled, senior leaders and experienced ppl ousted, they are back to the IBM ways of cut to get growth, which is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater!! Goal is 1400 US ppl laid off - these are ppl making average 150k base pay…. This is how they make growth targets!

US missed their plan big time in 2025 and Jamie led that org…He didnt get it done in Delivery and hasnt gotten it done so far in Sales…this year will be telling.

Rutledge is a clown and a fool - his incompetence has ravaged the Kyndryl delivery organisation into a crumbling mess and now he has been shuffled to destroy the US Org with his buffoonery.
He was kicked out of IBM due to gross misconduct and catapulted into Kyndryl as the chief punching bag for Martin and Elly who hate his guts.
It’s only a matter of months before this tu-d will be flushed by Martin into the sewers of oblivion.
@a6 if they would uncouple from IBM TLS they would reduce costs by 10's of millions in the US alone. Unfortunately, IBM DNA is still embedded in this company's culture.
There is no future in Kyndryl US. Everything internal that needs to continue will be pushed to LATAM, parts of Eastern Europe, and mostly India.
