Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Just give your work to non-hub and overseas employees and relax.

I am loving AT&T’s new company culture under John Stankey. I roll into the Dallas office after 10AM, and collect my badge swipe. Stay until a little bit after lunch. Get to grab something tasty for lunch. As for actual work? I do as little of it possible. Tasks that would take me an hour, I now stretch out to the whole day.

If I have any ideas or thoughts! Cute - I keep them to myself.

That’s all I have to do. I don’t have the same pressure to perform as non-hub people in California or Missouri - fu-k those guys. Just shift your work to non-hub and overseas employees. Stankey does it all the time - like how he shifts blame or responsibility from himself to others. Follow the leader and you’re safe! Fu-k everyone else!

“All replacements to Dallas and ATL until 2030 after it is Dallas only.”

Take Atlanta off that list, they are trying to eliminate it also. Nearly all backfills go to Dallas. It’s just on a longer timeline than other places is all. Don’t expect any advancement if you’re in Atlanta. We’ve already been told we have to be in Dallas to advance even though most of our bosses aren’t there.

Swipe badge, drink some coffee, maybe throw in a bathroom break. Now it’s time for a walk around the Discoery District and then hit lunch. After lunch another walk outside then hideout until it’s time to go home. Easiest money I ever made. The new culture works for me.
My spouse doesn’t understand why my stress level has gone down since RTO.

Please. This abysmal joke won’t make it to 2030. At this rate, the world might not either.

All replacements to Dallas and ATL until 2030 after it is Dallas only. Yes those in hubs have a bit of advantage in the short term. Goal is to dilute the non-hubs where it makes it palatable to further consolidate to Dallas. The focus at your job daily is to the minimum while you find a new job outside of AT&T.

Stankey has turned us against each other. Hub employees vs non hub employees. Ofcourse hub employees win every time.
