Any bets on when the next round is going to be? After q4 earnings come in low? Turnaround falters and tariffs bite?

I highly doubt Nike is going anywhere anytime soon. Having said that, the company is currently larger than the market will sustain. We're at a level that assumes Nike was always going to be a high growth company and things are finally coming down to reality that the market is only going to grow just so much. China isn't going to save the company as they turn away from American brands nd India just took a turn away from America as well so that's probably not going to be the next high growth market either. America has become super polarized and everything is political now so it's very hard to be a brand that the majority of people will buy into unlike in the past. Nike is unfortunately going to have to keep shrinking until its size matches economic reality.
Leadership will take a pause on layoffs after the end of this year (there's still more to come!) and then we'll probably see a need to cut more as the recession hits and the magical turnaround doesn't materialize as quickly as the shareholders demand. So, maybe Q2 of next year is when we'll see more large scale layoffs.
Nike has shed jobs every month this year. The bigger groups of layoffs (like May, June, and last week) get the obvious attention, but there have been smaller "targeted" layoffs happening all along.
So basically, that smartass that keeps bragging about going back to work on Monday may very well be crying in here on Tuesday.
We are happy to go back to work at Nike on Monday. Turnaround at this scale takes time and we are willing to contribute and do our best to make Nike great again.
Good riddance of those who continue to wish for Nike’s failure. Your opinions doesn’t matter.
Usually March/April, then August/September. Twice a year, at least under JD.
Go ahead and speculate while losing sleep. All I know is I go back to work on Monday :) Have a great weekend everyone, I know I will

a surge of people buying nike products
does anyone see a lot of economic growth in the next few months
