Really worried that all these changes will have an impact on R&D as whole. Rene Denise out who else will go? Beverage has not been doing well so not sure on Tara’s appointment. Looks likely we will see some reorganisation around Thanksgiving.
@t2 I asked a question about PLM during Tara's fireside chat in Plano this morning. The moderator did not read my question. They keep saying voice opinions fearlessly but when faced with a challenging question they refuse to address it.
Is PLM up for the chop?
@s8 I am not a fan of KOS. He is not very engaging, seems to play favorites. Despite his leadership experience, he is not a scientist.
With Tara taking the realm does that mean Kevin will jump or be pushed? Would have thought Kevin would have been next in line with his leadership in Food Bev and now TDC?
Hearing Rene Lammers and Brett O'Brian are both going/gone.
When your chief science officer leaves the company you know something big is going to change. Hold on PepsiCo employees it’s going to be a bumpy road.
Can someone post what’s the announcement about R&D org
Timelines given to R&D for product development are always tight. The argument is we don't need to strive for perfection. Guess what? All the rush timelines have resulted to mediocre products that people are not buying. We reap what we sow. Mediocre products can only receive a tepid reception from consumers. Give R&D enough time to do proper product development. Do not demonize those who strive for perfection. Only then we will produce products that will beat competitors.
@ck what do you mean since Tara started?
Push or Jump…doesn’t matter. They’re finally leaving.
@ck Can you expand regarding GP saga?
@OP the announcement on Friday was in the works from the day Tara started at Pepsi. Personally not surprised. Fear there may be another GP saga on the horizon. VPs and SVPs are jumping ship or being pushed off. That in itself says volumes about where Pepsi is heading. This is the top of the iceberg.
Are they jumping ship or getting pushed off?
