Your HR status has to employee or LOA (60 day Notice Period) on 9/30 to be bonus eligible - rest assured that it will be greatly reduced by your manager so that the monies can be spread among those who are still employed. You won't get the company match allotment unless you're employed through year end. It's all spelled out in the FAQs.
@fm That's for 401k match, not bonus. Its really up to manager discretion, or it used to be. When I was displaced before by wells, the guy who replaced my manager (also canned) was nice enough to give us ALL three months prorated bonus.
60 Days Before December 15, 2025 Would Be Thursday, October 16, 2025
You are eligible, but your manager is likely going to face a tight budget that never goes as far as it needs to. She/he will be faced with rewarding/motivating the surviving team members and considering a payout for those already cut and gone. Tough choices, you can do the math.
I asked yesterday (got my ‘significant position change’ letter for relo) and was told the bonus cutoff is Q4 or 10/1.
All down to timing. And your boss...
Regardless of date, they do not have to give you a bonus. I was cut in December and my manager gave me a nice, full bonus. There are decent people still at Wells
You are "eligible" which does not mean you will get anything but some people I know who were let go end of year did get some form of bonus although maybe not as much as normal. After the 7/22 round of layoffs we became eligible because we are employed past 9/30 (60 day notice is considered employed). Next milestone to consider is 401k match which you would have to be employed (including 60 day notice) past 12/15.
