Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Future of Oracle

It looks that only numbers matters. It's now a CFO driven company.
I've been told that no-one wants to join Oracle now, as can be fired in 1month, 1year. Or low paid jobs for intern/early guys.
Even Gartner magic quadrant won't support, people hate this culture, and are not productive at all.

The stock market seems unimpressed with ORCL's cost cutting. Q1 will be reported next week on Tuesday. They will need to hit a grand slam to recover the 10% that the stock has dropped.

Oracle has been a CFO driven company since SC was made co-CEO and MH died. It's all about what is best for LJE too. He gets billions per year from Open AI now and still cuts people.

Oracle has been a CFO driven company in the 15 years I have been there. Could write a book on some of the things I have seen that would make your skin crawl.

Meanwhile in every meeting, our people are the most important contribution to our success.

However, actions speak louder than words. Another year with no focal and more layoffs.
