Come on admit it who thought up this idea of everyone having to book their desks? Forcing everyone into 4 days a week now coming up with yet another way to sc--w us all over. Can you believe there is other places to work where you can just go into an office and sit down at will. Madness.

target is desk space for 80% of the people assigned to location
it's up to business units to manage the mess
I call dibs on bathroom stall #3 on 11W at 240 Greenwich. 4 days a week on the bowl!
They only wanted you IN the office, they didn't mean they wanted you seated at a desk and working.
And what happens if you are late booking a desk and none are available? Do you come in anyways and sit in public spaces to work or turn around and go home? Should you be penalized for the company not having adequate seating for staff? It's crazy.
I’ll take a table for one at eight am on Monday. Anyone know what the coffee specials are that day?
The only way the whole RTO and hoteling bs makes sense is if you look at it from their point of view. They're saving a ton of money every time someone quits and doesn't get severance pay.
Making the work environment as miserable as possible is actually helping the stock price rise. They don't care one bit about the effect this has on anything but the bottom line. At some point, they'll cash in and jump to the next company, leaving this one in a shambles.
Will the executive committee eventually lose their assigned desks?
