Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

U.S. taxpayers are now the largest shareholders in Intel.

I demand that all US taxpayers get steep discounts on all Intel products!

Assuming US population is 340 million, each person in the US (taxpayer or not) will own roughly $30 stake in Intel. So which company gives discount to a shareholder who own 1.2 share of stock ?

US taxpayers will and shouldn't get any discount on Intel products. They are already getting semi conductor security which more than compensates their investment.

Look at it this way, we just got High NA EUV machines with the money Biden already gave Intel. Now we just have to fire all the Intel people and hire some from TSMC who know how to run them. MERIKA!

Here we go. The can of worms has been opened. Wait until the taxpayers start complaining about all of the layoffs or our inability to keep up with A.I.
