Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

After the recent last wave of CPM, have Intel reached their target of 75K employees?

If not, I afraid there will be another mini wave

@an can tell you’re a Portland loser because of your capitalism cries while also parroting “won’t somebody think of the homeless??”

This city is awful

Total current headcount information is so fuzzy, wonder if it's intentional.

Not a mini wave of new layoffs but a maxi tsunami of new layoffs until someone buys Intel's empty buildings.

@an yes, by all means blame capitalism. I know that it is important for you to have someone or something to blame. Couldn't be anything you may have done. Socialist/liberal programs like DEI may not be the entire cause for Intel's demise but they sure did fan the flames that have burned this company to the ground.

Capitalist Intel said it hopes to create 5000 more homeless former employees by end of this year so 75k has not yet been reached.

It is doubtful that the 75k target has been reached yet. I would guess that part of the numbers included attrition related to rto which doesn’t start until next week. They have the rest of Q3 and all of Q4 to make any necessary adjustments to head count
