Do we get any prorated bonus if we leave in the middle of the year?

No
If you choose to leave, you forfeit any bonus money.
If they choose to lay you off, they usually will pay you a prorated bonus.
If you walk into GK's office, drop your drawers, and take a dump on her desk, then you will be fired for cause and you will not get a bonus. You will become a legend for decades to come, but you will not get a bonus.
@dr yes part of layoff late last year.
@b4 did you get laid off ?
I got mine. Prorated 10 months. Paid out in separate paycheck from severance payment.
Voluntary termination - no
Involuntary termination by getting fired- no
Involuntary termination by layoff - yes
Involuntary termination by layoff but you are offered the same job at a contractor company - no
@OP No. Bonus is only prorated as part of a severance package but not if your separation is voluntary. This is something I would try to negotiate as part of signing bonus or comp structure with your new employer.
No, you have to be employed on whatever date the cut off is in February.
