Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

Bye bye Eric

HR head clown Eric Leef is leaving Hertz. Looks like he is the fall guy for the recent disaster employee survey. Good riddance! Unfortunately this departure won’t mean much for the Hertz employee workforce who are likely faced with continued compensation hardships stemming from a broken company.

I have witnessed some of the most amazing talent left at Hertz walk out the door without any real retention strategies in place. Yet useless toxic individuals are promoted and rewarded further demoralizing those holding the company together. Unless the plan is to extract the value left in the company and scrap the whole thing, there’s zero reason to keep anyone in senior leadership or HR. They have failed Hertz and need to be held accountable by the Board.

Yeah if the entire HR department was replaced I might not have left last year. Insane the amount of bullsh-t going on at Hertz because of the useless HR. Talent has been getting pushed out for years and incompetent mo--ns have taken senior positions and they are on a power trip to remove the competent people below them out of fear they might replace them. Lot of bad actors need to be removed and we need to bring back the talent that left AND REWARD THEM FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE THIS TIME. It should not take 10 months to fire dead a-s weight (literally saw someone do only 10 minutes of work per day and it took 10 months of serious conversations to get them removed at HQ).
