You can still see your badge swipe totals in workday, but is that even being monitored anymore?

@fg it is up to someones manager, no one from HR or any executive office is looking at them. If you don't believe me, open a ticket with HR and tell them your days are incorrect or ask about the policy, they will send you a scripted response saying to not worry about it and to only go to your manager in the future about any rto questions or concerns and to not open and additional tickets as rto requirement is entirely up to your manager.
@fe That's simply not true. Some orgs absolutely track them and it is NOT up to the manager. My org for example, tracks them but is quite lenient. My manager dgaf if we go in or not but it's his boss (VP/SVP) who does care. Basically, I was told that they only care about badge swipes "wink wink" - meaning, if I want to swipe it and go straight back home, then do it.
Monitored yes, just like they have been the last 30 years. No one is checking them above your manager and it is up to your manager as to whether or not it matters. I come in an average of 2.5 days a week, 1-2 hours since March and no issue.
lol @ RTO. 🤣🤣🤣
I know people in ISG at 176 that don't show up and they're still there so that should tell you something.
It 12000% depnds on the org you are under. Some orgs are sticklers and monitor like a hawk making sure you are there EVERY day; while others (like mine) want you to badge in a percentage of the time. I believe my org wants roughly 30% per quarter. Which comes out to around 21 days or so per quarter - badge swipes. Might be 40% or 50% but either way, my org is lax about it as long as you meet the minimum badge swipes/quarter.
My director told me/us that all they monitor are badge swipes and said "take that as you want" "wink wink.." - meaning, badge in and go home if you want to.
Sales org on the other hand, I think are VERY demanding that everyone be IN office 8 hours a day, 5 days/week.
It seems to depend on who you work under at a high level. I know at least for the senior vp I am under if you miss a day, you have to explain why. Whereas I see other groups onsite who’s people might come in one day a week or not at all. I just tried to worry about myself but yeah, it’s just is crazy out there.
mine have been 0 for the past month
