Thread regarding Envestnet Inc. layoffs

And there goes the CFO

Could have sworn that Bain would have kept him. Brutal. Wonder what his exit package is? Who is next?

Who is even running finance at Envestnet? I was on a call with the company’s new “controller” the other day and it was a disaster. She was totally unqualified for the job. What is Bain even doing?

Are we saying November for voluntary departures because that’s when retention bonuses are paid? Or what else? I know that Bain can change compensation and benefits starting in December per the public filing, but I wouldn’t expect drastic changes.

@pq it can be by year end as well.

@pc curious if November has any specific significance or if you are referring to by end of year.

Coming November , many other exits are inevitable.

@jf I remember hearing rumours when he was hired from BlackRock. He likely will receive the full 5.97M golden parachute as he steps down.

The CHRO and CFO being replaced in a 3 month window seems like a bad sign, regardless of how they both left.

@fg

That’s what you would think, but why would anyone knowingly go into a 2-year CFO role? Money must have been substantial.

This was expected. His role was to prep env for sale. He did that.
