Based on what people are sharing, these layoffs seem massive and widespread. Why are we being kept in the dark? The lack of communication is making an already difficult situation far more stressful and disorienting than it needs to be.

@a8 4SVPs?
So by the end of today, 4 × SVPs, 14 x VPs and some people from BUs they never perform well, totally around 2.7% in the US. And from next week to September will reorg and many sr doctor/director will lose positions, for individuals, expect huge cut in November.
Once cut, no work is expected so safe to put status “Out of Office” of these individuals.
Management strategy is to isolate these LR individuals. No broader communication so those LRed stay hidden. Many have a sense of guilt for getting picked.
Don’t let these temporary setbacks be your obstacle to next phase of your career, and don’t let them get away with making you just a number.
It’s confirmed that it’s 3% of workforce cut
I am seeing some people around my team "out of office". It is "a few" but not sure if they are actually on vacation, just kind of strange all at this time.
