Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

What is the purpose of Aerojet Rockdyne Business Unit within this loser of a corporation called L3Harris?

What do you all think is the long term goal for Aerojet Rocketdyne within L3Harris? I have seen no overall improvement in any shape form or fashion since the L3Harris merger with AR. Since the merger the AR family was already quite pathetic as a stand alone private company with no clear direction. Now under L3Harris we get some form of personnel to be laid off every other quarter. Myself personally I felt General Electric would have been a perfect fit when they elected to purchase AR but somehow the US govt wanted us to be purchased by trash a-s L3Harris corp who has ZERO expertise in space propulsion technologies. L3Harris also has ZERO expertise in missile defense technology as well. However I understand that we are headed into a make believe WW3 for the military industrial complex can keep the money rolling in their big fat pockets!!!

I was playing around with AI, after noticing the last quarterly earnings call was from the lead of Rocketjet Aerodyne. First, the last undiscovered place is space…its the next frontier. But back to AI, I asked AI why the commander of Rocketjet was giving the company earnings call, why was Kubasik not? It took me back in time to a place that had not been scrubbed off the net. The person leading Aerodyne, used to work with Kubasik at lockheed martin. Those two are friends. Much like bill brown and kubasik were friends merging two companies. The bottom line, I bet the leader of Aerodyne will be the next ceo of L3Harris. oligarky insert crying emoti

@jt

there is no option to assimilate, just the perception that there are rules and things are fair. The reality is L3Harris is an organizational mess with career professionals in both companies trying to compete for the same opportunities and cronyism or past familiarity usually wins. You would think 2 companies that are modeled on acquisitions would have considered that, "equals"

Simply walk through the two buildings in Plano, TX and the big one in Richardson, TX (right off 75) -floor after floor -they're nearly entirely vacant. The so-called production floor in Plano is a giant room filled with workstations that are never touched/used and other floors are filled with empty wall to wall cubes. The mo--nic Harris stuffed suits and pi-s poor work ethic has ki-led L3.

According to the internal articles, L3Harris is expanding the AR plants and increasing production. However, I believe these expansions were already in motion prior to merger. Is this not the case?

After more than four decades of service to its customers, ITT/Excellis was acquired by Harris corporation. Harris had virtually no experience with electronic countermeasures, but it didn't stop them from erecting a poster claiming credit for the 40 years of work done by the company they had just acquired. As you can imagine this infuriated most of the employees. It didn't stop Harris from shutting them up. Then they merge with L3 technologies and acquire ar. And they're doing the same thing. Taking a bow for someone else's work because they pulled them under their own stupid umbrella it's just a ploy to trick investors into thinking these a--holes know anything about what the fu-k they're doing. This dysfunctional organization, whatever you want to call it, will eventually break apart into pieces and be sold off to quash the investors thirst..

Synergy? There's still parts that haven't been integrated much since 2019 merger!

L3 Harris will force AR to assimilate or it will just get rid of every single AR employee that was there pre-l3 Harris. That's what they did when they merged with Harris. That's what they've done with every company they acquire. Nothing of AR will remain. That is how the synergy will happen. And, of course, AR which was losing money before it was acquired, will continue to fail. Fitting in with all of the other companies under the L3 Harris umbrella.

L3 Harris and Aerojet do not have a synergy to merge under one company. The CEO & CFO have no clue how to survive and make a profit. The layoff will continue to keep stock close to target. But the big question is, for how long?
