Aternity on laptop

Learned today that Aternity has been installed across the enterprise to monitor employee activity. I am not surprised that the tool is installed.

However, for those with knowledge of the tool and what it reports:

  • what is being monitored?
  • what tips do you have regarding the tool?

(To get ahead of the inevitable reply: yes, part of the answer to the 2nd question is to put in a full day of work each day. )

We had a guy who created a PowerShell script that would open other PowerShell scripts and transcribe them into a blank document. It had built-in pauses to reflect more natural typing rhythms. So, not only did there seem to be interaction, but there was what appeared to be usual content, not gibberish. The guy was a genius.

Who TF is invested in putting in a full day of work? An oppositional relationship goes both ways and matching energy is a real thing.

I like to open up a text editor and every couple minutes smash my face against the keyboard.
