I've been told by my manager that I'm in the next wave for LS, and that it will occur sometime in Q4. No specific date was given. Does anyone have any insights into when, specifically within Q4, this will take place? LOB is CLT if it matters. Is it reasonable to assume that it will happen before the end of October, such that the 60 day notice period concludes before EOY? I've been strung along for more than a year now, can't wait to be done with this place.

I would not assume by EOM October. They stretch layoffs through the entire Q in the same chunks. Expect by early Dec if anything. They layoff through the holidays but anecdotally in smaller numbers simply because of hr employee availability.

I to was warned earlier this year, been waiting ever since with my boss indicating they haven't heard anything. if the October timeframe is true then probably on or before October 14th because that would put the 60 days just before the December 15 deadline for 401k match.
Same situation as you, I was made aware of this in February and still waiting. Hopefully will know soon as no official word but know it is coming.
