We attended the HR functional town hall last month and debrief sessions this week. Our leaders tried their very best to answer the questions but their responses were still vague and high level.
Thanks to our GM who conducted an informal follow up employee session to provide more context and make it more real for us by bringing the discussion closer to home. She provided practical examples on how to navigate through all these changes. While the probability of losing my job is high, I appreciate our GM offering support like reviewing our talent cards and LinkedIn profiles. Also, I have noticed that almost everyday, she takes a few minutes to walk around and check on people. Thank you, these leadership gestures are truly appreciated. At the end, we still have a few good leaders in the company.
