After nearly 8 years on T-Mobile’s digital team, I got walked out today. The team had to deal with a temp leader for a while, and true to T-Mobile culture those who didn’t kiss up to their superiors didn’t last. Meanwhile, anyone who flattered Jeff and Arvind, or dutifully liked their LinkedIn posts, survived.

No one could ever be Marcus East, thankfully! The man was horrible x1000. Looks like he landed at Autodesk as a VP. Total steps back for him, but the right level, unlike the ridiculous pedestal T-Mobile gave him here. He was awful.
Jeff Simon, A complete je-k, still hanging on to Marcus left behind loyal supporters like Abigail and Senthil, and others still hanging on.
Jeff’s now plotting relocating all technical operations and development outside the US, eyeing a “Global Center” offshore, either in Puerto Rico or India.
And for those of you quietly asking for packages here? Be patient, once the move’s locked in, we’ll probably get served exactly what some are asking for.
Don’t believe me? Some of his lieutenants already wasted time and $$$ on Puerto Rico and are off to India next week for the next round $$$ fantasy planning. Hard to believe, but this might actually top the D2 disaster Marcus dumped on us.

Yes, but it's not Jeff's fault Mike and his smooth-brain trust prefer listening to an overconfident salesman who tells them exactly what they want to hear.
During good times, the SLT can't stomach a pitch from someone that appears less polished, delivers hard truths, and discusses complicated problems with any sort of nuance. They only want to hear from these folks when the house is on fire.
But once they want to start playing with matches in the house again, they kick the firefighter they hired to the curb.
If only ya'll knew what Jeff is up to. In a year, Jeff will make Marcus look like a very successful CIO in comparison.
There's a reason Simon left the Financial Services industry after a couple years as CISO for FIS.
