Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Enough is enough…..It’s time to go

It’s time for the lazy incompetent AE’s and the Service Sales Executive in the UK&I who have been hiding behind the promise of sales on large accounts to go.

They have been BANKING on being shielded by the sheer fact that they have ownership of the largest opportunities. No real strategy just sheer luck which they feel warrants them to be deemed the best. This has been enough to protect them. Historically these wins have been not because of them but merely because the clients had not other option but to renew.

We in the UK and EMEA are losing talented resources because of the incompetence of these people.

Time to take action now ELT (RP & MH) before it’s too late.

OP, I hear you, support your post(s) and disagree with the message mildly. You may post as many times as you like. This site is meant to release steam. You are good.

I do not have the authority to fire the people you are referring to. Even if I did, one person cannot go around firing people with no fact-checking. As much as it seems like this is unfair to individual employees, which possibly is, tell younger people to start working on passive source of income. Or tell them to not rely on another person, even a close friend up-high, for a living. This is how crooked it has become, I am sorry. Take a stroll, get a cup of tea or coffee, it's all right.

@b0 and there lies the sheer arrogance of these sales people who think it’s a ok that people are losing their jobs. Need more be said to prove the point.

Without putting a finer point to it…you’re BARKING up the wrong tree if you feel you’re going to get a reaction. Lol

One post to get things off your chest I think is fine but I think is getting a bit too much. Not sure what you think you are going to achieve by doing what it seems like a bi-daily post. To bad you wasn’t not this active with your customers.
