The Benefits Enrollment Guide, page 27 has Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability.

LTD Basic: You're automatically enrolled in basic LTD. The coverage offers a benefit of 50% of your covered pay if you're unable to work because of an injury or illness for more than 26 weeks.

Optional: You can enroll in optional Long Term Disability for an additional benefit of 15% of your covered pay.

I see several options missing this year including: basic critical illness, basic life, short-term disability, long-term disability (50%) and business travel accident coverage.

Generally just about everything the company was paying into on my behalf is gone.

The 50% is basic LTD that is free for everyone. The additional 15% is optional but if you take it then that is the 65% you have seen in the benefit elections in previous years. At least that is how the benefit book described it.

Long Covid for sure. This is what the country asked for when no one wanted to listen, and still doesn’t accept the facts. They know what’s coming.

Another thing that no one tells you about except finding it here on a layoff site. So dang sick of secrets.

It’s literally dropped to 15% this year. Used to have a 50% of salary and then you could opt in for more. At one time I was at 85% of my salary and then the options dropped and 65% was highest and now it’s 15% with no options!! I haven’t certified because I am not sure what the he-l just happened to the LTD benefit.
