This is a question that many are asking because Intel has such a generous stock grant program and ESPP (employee share purchase plan). Also, studies show employees hold far too much company stock. This comes from loyalty affects and also a feeling that you somehow know the prospects of the company better then the market and expect the glory days to return (even if this is just pure fantasy).
Unfortunately, now that the stock is down 50%, you are probably asking this question too late to do much good. However, if you have other big gains because you bet on high flyers like Moderna, Teladoc and Bitcoin and happened to sell before the crash, you could take some tax losses by selling your Intel shares to offset other gains. If you have no other gains then the decision becomes nearly impossible. If you are in this group, grab a quarter from your pocket and flip the coin... you may get lucky.
