Years of service

How are the years of service calculated when it comes to the severance plan? For example, do you get the next year of service soon as a new year starts or do actually have to wait until your anniversary date for it to count as another year of service?

In my case my anniversary will fall within my 60 day notice. I just want to know if I will be getting my additional two weeks.

This happened to me several years ago. Anniversary during 60 day notice. You get the extra two weeks.

Yeah, it's COMPLETED years of service. If you started on May 8, and get displaced on May 7, that last 364 days doesn't count as a year of service.

Read the Benefits Book, it's based on reaching your service anniversary each year. Has nothing to do with the calendar year.

Must hit full year of your anniversary, unlike PTO.

it's based on your actual start date. If your 60 days falls during that you get the extra 2 weeks.
