Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

I’m out of here

Got a job offer making 20% more at another bank with more room to grow. The labor market is still strong right now. You may even find out you’re being underpaid.

I will say I will certainly miss some people but unfortunately the bank is going in the wrong direction, and many wrong people are in leadership positions including my manager. Pay is also not competitive for the industry.

The return to office email just confirmed that I made the right choice. US bank is not the only employer out there and certainly not the best paying.

Congratulations. Yes, folks will definitely find USB is nowhere near top of the market pay. Found this out myself a couple months this ago.

Congratulations! That's my plan as well. I was a little nervous about switching to a new job with a potential recession looming, but they just pushed it over the edge for me.

The pay doesn't bother me as some of the people who are in management have bad integrity.
