Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Last Day - Paycheck

I’m currently in my non-working notice period, and when I called the Displacement team they said my final paycheck (with PTO payout) would come a week early; on my last day with Wells Fargo instead of 1 week later on the regular pay cycle. (Last day is May 16, they are saying I’ll be paid that day instead of May 23)

For anyone already in your severance period, can you confirm if this happened for you?

My last day is also the 16th but when I looked this morning, I didn't see a pay slip in Workday

Was it the normal payroll tax percentage for the PTO payout amount? Or a different tax percentage?

Thank you OP for asking and others for answering as this is good to know since I’m in this boat.

FYI.. WF will not take enough taxes for your PTO payout. Big shock at tax time. So plan accordingly.

Yes, it is what happens. They have to have your pay to you within certain number of hours or days.

I got mine my last week, although it was several days early. It included unused PTO and my carry over.
