Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Where is the MEDIA?

Thousands upon thousands laid off while thousands are being added to India. How is this not in the news?

There is a bank-wide hiring freeze overseas. It’s not being advertised unless you are management level. The reasoning we have heard is because overseas is no longer costs saving. Those employees are job hopping faster, for more pay and the costs saves are not as high as it was previously! Also this current administration only cares about blue collar jobs which is crazy because Manufacturing is never coming back, so it’s basically smoke and mirrors to get the right enthused to draw attention away from all the d-mb business decisions this 6-time bankrupt individual is doing to get to lucky number 7. Let me be very clear, tariffs will not bring these jobs back; at these levels this is an embargo with China and shelves will be empty by the middle of the summer and Truck drivers/retailers will be out of work. This will not be on Biden, so please leave those excuses at the door!!!

No one learns an easy lesson. Most need it the hard way. I hope that happens to the whole industry. Pain is a good teacher.

@cx+1jt1rx3b5 - you’re not wrong. What will get their attention is when, not if, when something “blows up”. Deregulation compounded by deep cuts in oversight and offshoring of those remaining roles, will end badly. Deregulation in this sector always ends badly.

Protest outside of HY. That will get the media’s attention. It worked for Tesla.

the media, politicians, and the white house only care about blue collar manufacturing jobs so that gets all the attention.

Smart thing would be to find a nice Indian to do your job- give him one third of your pay and take an early retirement!!

American jobs sent to India by Wells Fargo must be brought back. Make sure your local politicians hear you loud and clear.

Because they are being smart. Why report on a bunch of bankers, etc., being laid off when they can sit back and wait for the real s**t to hit the fan?

1 million seems like peanuts. Shart wipes his a-s with 1 million dollars due to his excessive compensation package.
