Cut Geo Tech Teams

What a waste, especially Emea. They don’t solve issues, just whine to global support to fix small things they think are causing the sky to fall. No big picture perspective and too much bloat in leadership. Zero value unless you consider getting your day bummed with their snooty, bi--hy attitude and low IQ threats to escalate their single minded woes to leadership enjoyable.

Look man, the dvmbazz rednecks of America outnumber the semi-intelligent Americans by, like, a lot.

Most of the ijiots that voted for Trvmp aren't smart enough to be using computers.

Trumpettes, as I like to call them, are pathetic snowflakes that need their grubby fingers in everyone's lives.

That said, you're argument would have more weight if your side ACTUALLY DELIVERED.

The reason we're so frustrated is the lack of determination and effort. Nothing gets done in the off-hours. Things that do get done, are done wrong or half-assed. Half the techs are stop-gapping every issue until WHQ deals with it. Sometimes I wonder what even is the point of you??

Oh. Absolutely True. United States is the pinnacle of global intelligence. Just look at who you, united states citizens, managed to elect for a second term. So keep your moral lessons for yourself. And, if you want 30 days of vacation, agree to halve your salaries.

OK kudos to @oc+1 the "2 month vacation" was awesome! I mean somewhat sad but true but I still laughed.

I think EMEA gets like 30 days off a year or something with all the breaks around holidays etc, etc.

I work with a few of them as well. What areas you think can go first? I can't understand the difference in structure, why are they organized differently?

I work with them daily. You could cut 75% of the directors there and see no impact except for the SDs who might have to do some actual work.

Geo resources don't provide resources - they consume resources. They understand nothing. They do nothing during their shift. They're, at best, a stop-gap between working hours and the time when actual WHQ resources solve the problem. I shouldn't be able to solve in 1 hour what geo resources need 16 hours to solve.

Ours just usually go off and make things so overly complicated everyone just leaves them alone.

There's so much waste in GT beyond the geo teams: product managers dreaming up stuff that will never get built, program managers checking boxes in documents, scrum masters doing 15 minutes of work a day, and then layers of VPs, Sr Directors, etc.
