IA VP transformation - Andreea takes people for granted

Corporate involvement in everything is becoming a new norm, playing politics and undermining long term employees not knowing how businesses work but dictate. Do it or go is their message.
VP transformation on IA level has behaved very poorly with all people and still thinks she is the best, obey or go.

@tc+1js0r8gv9 - The sad part is that many people are willing to obey. I see US corporates operating like an army - you take the order, and you execute, no questions, no thinking, no reasoning is accepted. Now, with the addition of East Indians in large quantities, obedience is a new trait highly desirable to survive. They have been hired for being obedient, and they are expecting others to be obedient. So either you sit somewhere low on a fringe, or you have to excel at being obedient and being cheap, cutting costs on everything, for which Indians are the best.

Have seen it happening more after Aero split, IA has things for grab.. as Sarah, Tina, Maribel are saying bye which leaves her the only candidate other than HR in IA.Treating people with respect is long lost , her politics are look at numbers, play pretend, to show numbers.

company has admitted failure and is breaking up as a hail mary for growth.
if honeywell was a band it would be named the Monkeys. Aerospace is Davy Jones.. cute but not enough for a solo career.

@bx+1js0r8gv9 She seems to be connected to the IA CEO, same country, Romania, so she must have full support, free rein to do anything she wants - unless she touches someone who has a higher connection, it ends there. As soon as you go to the director/VP/CFO/COO, etc, level, there is a high chance they have connections with someone at the higher leadership level.

There is no meritocracy in this company, period. It works with connections.

I wonder if VOE is trackable to the person? We are told they are not, but on the other hand, they know how many responded, therefore, they must have a way of tracking.

Regarding the VOE survey. While it is fashionable for corporate to say they listen to the Employee, they really do not care, the results are tortured to show success for some metric, that I'm sure will get someone a bonus.

Now if you really want to have some fun, do this but be prepared for consequences. Mention in the VOE that you have been invited to an informational meeting about a union wanting to organize your site. Within two days a site visit from Corp HR union busters will happen. During their visit your manager will be invited to attend a meeting, in which they will be asked what they know about a union being organized. They will then ask about you (yes, VOE results are anonymous unit they are not) and your attitude toward the company, any general problems that need to be address ...I.e a PIP.

The manager will then get and give mandatory Anti-union training, a with a hot poker applied to their posterior until things settle down.

I went through this with a group of other managers who had employees complain about legacy benefits being strip away with no compensation for the loss.

Though honestly put that energy into a job search there are much better companies.

Agree on the VOE, but they need to understand in the veil of GDM this particular VP is trying to grab power but threatening people and playing politics.
