Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Forewardedge ASIC

Why is it we need to find out about breaking news on press releases rather than hearing it from SLT?

Strategic partnership with Lockheed Martin and Plymouth MN foundry.

Have we identified the Aerospace buyer?

A strategic partnership is simply a mutually beneficial business arrangement between two separate companies that do not directly compete with one another.

If Honeywell and Lockheed Martin agree to a partnership similar to this it's possible nothing will change other than more product will be produced at the facility. It's likely that the foundry would still be owned by Honeywell while producing product for both companies.

It's actually good job security for the employees with the increase in production.

Even though there's no real facts on this yet. They were part of aerospace. So would that mean the whole entire all space would be bought by this company, or is it just that building in Minnesota.

@ar+1jn0zperb You are correct. Unfortunately, some people are just stupid.

The SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) requires publicly traded companies like HON to release any disclosures about significant financial events to the public (usually via press releases) before any other internal communications within the company.
