Changed careers and joined Intel a few years ago. I was buried in an IT ops role with zero product exposure for a few years such that I didn’t grasp the depths of Intel’s problems until too late. What an id--t. I just wanted to come in and put in a day’s honest work at a good company. I’ve always been a high achiever in life. Intel’s culture and performance have squashed that out of me.
Accepting an offer at this company is one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in life. And I have done some fu--ing ignorant things.
Struggling to accept that my career has little chance of recovering from it. You play the game the way you’ve been told it’s supposed to be played your whole life and the reward at the end of the road is…Intel?!? WTF?
Yeah, yeah, I’m clearly one of the mo--ns on this board. Trust me, I know. But so many execs from this company should be doing perp walks it’s disgusting. Ruin the careers and livelihoods of thousands and then get another CEO gig to run another company into the ground (BK). Fu-k the world.
