WIPRO is in talks with UMR to offshore work. Demonstration of what's to be done and ramp up meetings have been going on since late December 2024 and still today. Leaders from contracts, implementation, claims, and more all present in these calls discussing the implications and what areas will be impacted. I was in these calls, I heard these conversations and am worried about my teams.
If you were impacted by a RIF and managed to find another internal role, you will have a target on your back. You'll be impacted again, only next time there won't be severance and they won't be nice about it. If you get RIF'd and are more than 10+ yrs in, just take the severance and go. Don’t do what others did and desperately try to find another role to stay.
