I’ve been searching for something else for months, and nothing even comes close to my current job, especially when it comes to pay. Yet, every other day, I read about someone who was laid off or quit to find a job with higher pay, better benefits, and an amazing culture. Where are those jobs? How are people landing them?

The DEI club and/or a foreigner has taken the time to upskill with advanced degrees and certifications. Place the blame where it belongs. Anyone choosing comfort and complacency will fall behind.

I am one of the posters. I cannot reveal the new company without revealing my identity. There are a lot of trolls on here now, so I expect a few snide comments. I’m not posting for them. I’m posting simply to offer some hope. I’m not saying it is easy nor that everyone can get something better paying, etc. I’m saying that I am happier and found something better for me. If you get the call, I hope you can too.
im guessing they are fake posts also... i've been displaced for months now, have applied to all the ones i can find. good jobs are just NOT out there right now. or its a decent job with a massive pay cut. at this point, i will be grateful for ANY job i can find. i got comfortable and complacent (hoping WF would be the company i retired from) and didnt upskill. im paying very dearly for that now.
i do agree, however, if you are part of the DEI club and/or a foreigner, you have a leg up from all the normies and citizens.
@cb+1jjk1r8cm, it won't work anymore because Trump got rid of woke DEI. The only thing that will work is to change your identity to Indian.
Step 1: Go into Workday and change your race to African American.
Step 2: Update gender to trans or fluid or cis.
Step 3: Update pronouns to they/them/it.
Step 4: Refresh the job postings and enjoy.
You are not going to find a job "close to your current job". Your current job is 5-15 years behind the rest of the world. Coming out of this bank is like jumping out of a time warp. If you haven't upskilled yourself, you will end up lost.
Also, having worked on application systems, I know the system is rigged to keep to be b-ms like @c6+1jjk1r8cm out. Management in "safe companies" are increasingly aware of the psychology of the workplace -- in all environments. They do care about culture at their workplace.
They're anonymous posts. Why are you putting any stock into them? Those people were culled because they were lazy b-ms and it's doubtful they managed to pull off more elsewhere unless they're taking lessons from Don the Con. No one cares about culture at work. Go in, do the job, go home.

I think those are fake posts. Especially if they don't disclose the name of the company where they claim to go to, that's really fake. Why do they do it? I don't know, maybe they are doing just for the fun of it. The job market is not that great right now, we just have to keep trying.
