Investment required in the network. Also a good way to get around paying union techs. They can shift the work to the jo--t venture.

the olé jo--t venture kickback scheme . only a genius could figure that one out.
let’s see…. who is our resident genius?
Jo--t venture means they are funneling the fiber money the government allocated for these companies to run fiber in the infrastructure bill to one of their buddies and in return lining their own pockets. Bye, bye fiber techs when whatever contractor they get takes over all fiber operations.
Anybody that goes into a jo--t venture with Stankey is a fool! The earth is littered with companies he has obliterated.
Here’s the link to OPs info.

This is actually some good news. Fiber demand is so high, great partnership with one of suppliers (Corning). About time we get fiber domestically. Great job AT&T, fiber growth!
Growing the fiber footprints. Go AT&T. Go Stankey.
This news is over a month old...a jo--t venture with Dow-Corning that will bring 200 jobs to Gilbert, AZ and all the jobs paying 6 figures or more. Old news, people!
its no big deal
This info is legit. This is why Stank brought Bill Hogg back
OP is off his rocker.
Firstly, they would need to find a big enough fool to form a venture with T. That's no mean feat in this economy.
History is littered with lousy businesses where T brought in a partner to eat its losses. DTV comes to mind. Yellow Pages. And the beat goes on.
