Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

National business comp

Comp taking away a bunch of my sales that I personally sold from the entire year. Out of nowhere. Leadership beyond my manager doesn’t help or care. I have a module they won’t help me clean up, the reporting is always messed up and wrong, I work hard for my sales. I’m going to save myself the stress and get out. Tired of fighting bad systems, leadership that clearly does not care and never really engages us beyond surface level once in a great while and now add on the new health benefits are awful. The new benefits will put you in major debt should you ever get really sick. I really try to do a good job here every day and I feel like it’s all for nothing. Never felt this bad before. Time to head out.

If you are truly owed the sales, make sure to present the proper details and facts. Be a pro when doing it. Don’t be emotional in emails texts or discussions. Stick to the facts. At the very least you can say you made every effort.

Complaining in the Layoff Forum will do absolutely nothing to get your grievances redressed or even for that matter heard by anyone who can help. Whatever you have tried so far apparently was futile, you need to either find the right place to get action or find another position and then quit or su** it up and eat your ration.

Sales modules have always been manipulated by management. They move qouta round to help their favored pets and reassign good accounts accordingly. No news here, they been doing it forever.

Glad you are finally realizing management at any level doesn't give 1 phuck about employees. It's absolutely ridiculous how this dumpster fire of a company treats their employees and customers. It doesn't matter how much education you have, or how much experience you have, you will ALWAYS get screwed over in favor of "the manager's pet". At lease that is how HR works. Promotions are given based on race and skin color and alternative se-ual orientation.

If you can sell, there will always be sales jobs.

Nothing special about T.

What was comps justification for taking those sales away? Did those lines/customer churn? If so, then you should not receive comp for lines that churn or no usage activations.

Totally understand. Sales has become the do everything job. Unfortunately it’s not going to change or if it does they will add a lot more people and reduce comp to nothing.
I have two more years and I’m out. There are a lot of sales jobs out there if you can sell.
