Yes, paid off some debt. Refocused company on communications. We are on our way back.
Cry about the debt all you want but the company with $29 billion in revenue is worth $15 a share. Workers getting paid. Dividend getting paid. Deal with it.
You just unhappy cuz time and technology has passed you by. The debt is just an reason for you to complain.
"Enjoy your beer and let the big boys worry about the debt."
The big boys got us in this mess. There is a reason why crews mutiny.
The debt gives you something ti complain about. Go AT&T.
$135B, go Stankey!
If only your BS was believable, but it’s so out there that it makes it laughable! You achieved what you wanted, you got everybody to laugh at how ridiculous an offer you made up!
Enjoy your beer and let the big boys worry about the debt.
Oh no, just wet my pants cuz I heard the word "debt".
Oh no, I just threw up in my mouth some after seeing the stock value. Imagine where T would be without all of this pants wetting debt.
If the company was offering a buyout to employees, it would’ve been this year. Makes no sense to do it Feb 2023. And if it’s t true then elenorate.
That offer is a pipe dream.
Some of the money from the spin-off is being used for the buyout offer coming in February. 5 year age, 5 years service and $10k per year of service. Earlier poster was 100% correct.
Manageable, very manageable debt to contend with! T has an annual revenue stream of $110B and could easily manage the debt over the next half dozen years or so. Take a look at any corporate balance sheet and it will show debt as part of the cost of doing business.

Chump change. Debt is overstated.

This is what happens when you buy high, sell low, and negiotate such a horrible sale that you keep the debt.
This is what happens when you current and prior CEOs are at the top of the CEO Wall of Shame!
Go Stink!
