I don’t think there will be any big layoffs until end of Feb 2023. They know people are waiting for end of year end end 401k match and beginning of the month bonus in Feb 2023. After that more then likely people will quit, let’s say between 3 to 5 percent. So, after people quit, they don’t have to pay severance to that 5 percent that quit. I suspect layoffs will pickup again end of February, 2023.

A big high five for my severance. I’ll take a real long vacation… Since I never win the lottery, I don’t think I’ll be one of the lucky ones getting cut. If I do get cut, I’m definitely gonna buy more lottery tickets.
