I had this question asked to me at a recent interview. I don't know exactly remember what I said. Probably something about agile/scrum. I do know I flubbed the question.
Why? I later contemplated this question. Then it dawn on me that every single project in my 8+ years at Wells had a different SDLC! And some projects had multiple transitioning SDLCs as I worked on them.
Each project had a different recording system (Accpac version x, Jira, etc). With each project there was a different accountability system and sometimes a different manager. I had a different manager or mid manager for each of my years -- each with a different "take" on the SDLC. With an inconsistent SDLC came inconsistent accountability. You never knew if you were doing a good job or a bad job.

We have basically two SLDC models... Waterfall and Agile. Agile is what everybody is expected to use.
