I’m close to 60 and wasn’t impacted, and those on my team that were ranged from 62 to 43. And the average age of my team is 50

What the he-l is wrong here it seems that some refuse to believe their job was eliminated or their position was chosen they seem to be looking for some kind of hidden nefarious reason why they were laid off
You are wasting your time and energy
They did not pick you because of your age
Can you please move on

Humana’s HR does an analysis to ensure there’s no disparate impact. So while it’s possible for something to have happened, the odds are very much against it. Plus proving either disparate treatment or disparate treatment is hard—and costly.

Unless you have solid evidence, the odds of winning don’t favor you as a plaintiff. They favor defendant corporations.

Bad things happen, and unfortunately, not all are legally actionable. You may never find the answers you’d like. But I pray you and others will be able to find peace as time passes.

No # on amt, and if the average age of the workers were over 40, which it eeems it was, there was no age discrimination. The roles were eliminated, it wasn’t performance based like prior rifs. Call your lawyer, you have nothing….
