Is it true that WFA in St. Louis has experienced some 400 layoffs over the last two weeks?

@4qqh+1jSXXSs7 I think you may be missing the point, one can point to countless studies showing businesses leaving behind unsafe hubs in favor of better ribs cities. StL has numerous examples of this happening.
The workforce may not primarily live in the city proper, but they are forced to interact with it and pay taxes to it.
The point went over your head. St. Louis City crime does not affect the workforce. The workforce does not live within the areas of the city where the vast majority of crimes happen.
This is an example of how statistics fail when comparing apples to oranges.

That is a misleading statistic based on the structure of the local governments.
If the proposed city/county merger ever happens, St. Louis would be the 9th largest city in the country with one of the lowest crime rates.
Not only is it one of the most violent places in the US, but it ranks in the top 10 for the WORLD

There are so many low class managers in STL it’s sickening no business training or education literally the scourge of the industry.

I believe the last post is more likely, WFA is trimming people who got selected by the “AGE & Wage” Algorithm. That being when your salary has crept outside of your job’s salary range which impacts your bonus and exacerbated by the 57 - 63 year old age grouping, your severed/packaged out. Resulting in spot groups of 7-10 being laid off as was just done in the Bond Department.
It would be very telling for someone to do a forensic study/review of those who been severed that were not par of a business line being shut down looking at the relationship to age, salary and bonus.
I wouldn’t be surprised but probably not all in 1 area. 20 here, 30 there. Been trimming like that for a while now.
