2-3 % raise doesn’t even cover the cost of inflation much less the extra cost of commuting but we should all just be lucky we should have a job right…..

Give yourself a Virtual Raise by working less.
So bad policy on energy driving all prices higher while driving down employment means WF and other companies need to pay you more? How about be happy to be employed. Now that midterms are over here come the major job losses. Many people on this board will get what they want. However be careful what you wish for... The pendulum is swinging back and these will be the good old days.
2-3% raise for the grunts and another f-u to the employees who have the benefits costs go up (the ones they haven't eliminated yet) and cutting the spousal contribution in half. All that cr-p on top of the change the the 401k to only match yearly and you must be present to win. But, each year that they effectively give a cut in pay, I give myself a boost to my hourly pay rate.
I don't mind my raises, but FRTO.
Start your own business. You can either work for yourself or work for someone else and game the system. I, personally, don’t want to work. I can think of other ways to occupy my time.
Just find a role in this company where you can still collect a paycheck, but WFH. End of discussion…
That is pretty much is all Corporate America gives you any more. It is not just here.
In my nearly 20 years here, I've never seen a 3% raise. 2% always seems to be the cap.
Saving grace for me was turning down their initial lowball employment offer. They then came back with a much better offer which I accepted. So while I was paid unusually well 20 years ago, the world has since caught up to me and my pay is probably below average now in terms of dollars.
Don’t take this company seriously. Just think of it as a biweekly paycheck, that’s it. Find other ways to make real money.
I gave up worrying about raises. I found other ways to be compensated. In fact, my WF job is actually my side hustle, now. I spend so little time doing my WF job, that I only remember that I work for this company because of calls and paychecks that get direct deposited.
Yes, that is right. I’m very thankful to have a full time job.
