Are there new revenue figures presented on these calls along with reported sales? Should be easy to figure out a ballpark number on revenue produced per employee. Understand that you might not be privy to overhead costs per store (which would make a big impact on profitability per employee). Also understand that if your line of management is being graded (or being chewed out) for not meeting those, $hit roll downhill. Would be a good exercise to interject on those calls FWIW.
My store ends the month with 350-500 upgrades most months. Most other stores around me avoid upgrades to ensure a good upgrade/new line ratio, just to avoid an a-s chewing on a call. This will end up biting them in the bu-t as many stores are being downgraded and staff are being cut.
No they didn’t bring this on themselves. Technology had a huge impact. No longer a need to go to a store to buy a phone or have it activated or data transferred. Buy phone online, get it delivered to your house, move the SIM card and a few button clicks and your old phone becomes your new phone.
Stores are ghost towns? You brought that on yourselves. Years of slamming, misleading and pathetic excuses for customer service will cause that.
Maybe you could get an outside job as a prem / wire tech
Las Vegas let go of a few. Had too many on the books. Won’t be surprise if they hand over some more stores to AR soon.
Same here with our store being a ghost town. I’m surprised we’ve been open this long. Especially with our store being a bunch of crybabies and whiners (employees and customers).
Who will operate store after you are gone?
Question is what stores will be open to manage with some being ghost towns? As someone posted, the last time they knew of anyone going to a store was his grandmother 5 years ago. Pretty close to what I have seen in this area..
A quick scan of WARN shows
A mass layoff (see glossary)—where your employer lays off either between 50 and 499 full-time workers at a single site of employment and that number is 33% of the number of full-time workers at the sin- gle site of employment; or
• A situation where your employer (see glossary) lays off 500 or more full-time workers at a single site of employment

What are the numbers in Cali such that you think the surplus meets the WARN actngudelines? I know Cali may have other employment laws.
If you are sure they broke the law, for the benefit of the impacted employees pick up the phone and file a report with the govt. let us know what they say.
ATT has violated the WARN act. No Warn notice was given and it should be 60 days with the number of SoCal and NorCal layoffs.
Is your store closing or someone below being promoted? Who will operate store after you are gone?
