promotions in my group are capped at 10% and given promotions come out of the same budget as merit that leaves less for everyone else. I'd say exceeds in my lob will be lucky to get 3.5%. Since comp opened on Wednesday by leadership and sent us managers updated guidance 3 times, all of which is lower than the guidance set forth by HR.

As for when employees will know, bonus gets paid out first pay check of Feb so you'll know at most 2 days before. Any salary adjustment or promotion will be reflected in the first full paycheck of February so around mid-Feb however will be reflected in workday on Feb 1, although managers are supposed to have communicated all this before Feb 1, I think by Jan 27

Post ID: @uiw+1jLDLtAI my spouse is upper management. I work there too but they were in the calibration calls. the numbers I gave are factual. the only way to get a significant bump is a promotion those run between 12-15%

usually they are told like 2 weeks before they are paid out. i will say i think most are going to be disappointed on Charlie’s definition of keeping up with inflation. Exceeds will be around 4% meets 3% and 2% in some cases. no where near the 8% needed for inflation!!! with the increase in medical, food, rent, and fuel cost your increase is already spent!!!
