Only a Christmas Miracle could make this happen with BFE or Stifel buying up WFA! So as to purge ourselves of the Wachovia and Wels nightmare!

If you know the business, read the news, or have the slightest bit of knowledge as to the fraud, mismanagement, lack of oversight, and/or billions of dollars in fines - all the crimes and risk are on the bank side.
No one in this world wants to buy that risky cr-p!

I have heard they are downsizing WFA associated real estate and there will be a contingency of compliance employees remaining to sort out legacy regulatory issues

Are we talking about Wells Fargo Advisors or Wells Fargo Auto. I’ve heard rumblings about both for years, but nothing concrete.
This has been rumored for over a decade so I would take it with a grain of salt. No idea if the rumor may now have more credibility in the current environment, though.
