This has to be the most id--tic statement I have ever seen on this site! You're obviously someone that has been around long enough to know that these types of offers have been made in the past to some small degree. The fact of the matter is this offer will never happen again at least not in your miserable lifetime!

Don’t know where these SBC bed wetters get their information but the Company has firm plans to reduce CWA represented employees by 1500 and the current contract won’t allow for that.

Never going to happen. They will take away retirement benefits first. End 401k match, etc

Why do we keep doing this? Someone thinks it’s funny?

Not sure which of our last CEO’s said it but paraphrasing “We are not going to pay people extra to leave the company any longer”. Have heard of isolated instances where the pot was sweetened a little but not wholesale changes in that philosophy. In fact remember being in a skip level meeting where a big shot said the 6 months of severance was better than 95% or greater of the companies out there and that was being looked at. Of course the way things are flipped around here who knows. However bottom line is they don’t have to do anything extra to get people off the payroll.

In your wildest and wettest dreams! I know one can dream all they want, but this proposal or lack thereof will never come to fruition, just not the T way any longer! But continue to spew your nonsense and wishful thinking cuz you're only teasing yourself!
Everyone else on this site is too wise to the T ways!

Coming directly from HR, no offers now or in the future. This coming from the top. Why keep spreading all these rumors? Best you’re getting is 6 months severance or whatever is in your contract if you’re craft. How many times do you all need to hear there will not now or ever be another offer. That is way in the past. Unless there is some big leadership change, that is never coming.

5 years added to your age, 5 years added to your years of service. Then recalculate your retirement benefit. And maybe add some cash in addition.

Company will never pay folks to leave with the current attrition rates. People are leaving for free!!

Never happening again. You are delusional if you think there will be. They will not give money way to people when they can just declare a surplus and lose people naturally. The “Golden Age” of layoff incentives is from a bygone era and it’s not coming back.

This is great news the package is finally coming. I've been waiting so long and I'm ready to go. I wasted my money over the years and need a huge lump sum to make ends meet. Now I can finally do it.

No offer since I took the 50g plus Sipp in 2020. Management to keep you sweating looks like.

the new MO from leadership is to TAKE AWAY benefits to "encourage" folks to leave. Gone are the days of enticing them with years on age/service and severance. OP sounds like a troll looking for a reaction from folks.

Biggest mistake was selling T to a bunch of inbred hi--------s. The really comical part is imagining the creative interactions with the Hollywood types and Stankey’s people. There was zero chance of success and yet this clown is still in charge.

These SBC peons have no clue. They think that the world revolves around Texas. If a corporate decision to reduce headcount is made, enhanced payouts are an afterthought.

Why would T give an offer like that when they know people will bow down to what they demand of their employees? The fact that the pension contribution is now way less than previous years, the hit that the pension will take in 2023 and people will still not leave... This is T's dream.. keep people that just obey to their demands while they keep chipping away at any benefits we have left.
Sorry to say but, it's just a rumor... Ya Ain't gett'n nothang but the normal 6 month severance.

I would agree to the extent that the deeper the financial ho-e AT&T falls into, the more desperate they’ll be to cut costs. A traditional enhanced offer could happen if things continue to deteriorate.
