Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Anyone know if prescribed medical ma------a is against any SPS USA policy?

The stress of these RIF's is ki----g me but don't want to do anything that'd risk being let go 'for cause'.

I think it's ironic that Honeywell tests for MJ for hiring purposes but are willing to engage in business with the ca--abis industry.

Anyways from what I read Honeywell won't test randomly so as long as you don't cause workplace injury you are good to go. Just don't show up to work high.

I'm quite sure the company has no problem with federally illegal activities. Federal Law supercedes any state or local laws. So, go ahead.

Why worry? We are all at risk for a RIF before 12/15. Especially if you are in SPS. Hit that b0ng.

If you are an office worker the risk of OTJ injury are low. Just be careful and smoke up!

You will get fired for cause if caught. Local state law do not protect against a federal ban especially if the business is involved in government contracts

If you work in any capacity for Defense, Aero, Industrial, HR, Managment - answer is 100% yes. Despite it being state recognized, its not federal. Believe me, I've been waiting for yearrrssss.

If your state issues medical licenses, I don't think that it can be part of the dr-g test. Check your laws before you puff for sure.

In my area of SPS, a job site injury that requires medical attention, will cause testing for anyone involved. Injured or not.

Can't speak for SPS, but 15 years in Aero, the only time I've ever heard of anyone being tested was for initial employment screening. I suppose it would be different if you are involved in some type of on-the-job injury. So, I'd say light up that bowl, Sparky.
