HR Bots are at it again! I was hoping to hear how many were cut.

Yep, the design leadership (are they called 'user experience'??) on the western side of the business is just useless. Boy, can some of them talk some baloney, charge a chunk of change per hour and deliver garbage.
To be fair the China team just gets stuff done and has reasonable success in their markets.
We haven't had a successful design come out of my SPS site in years. HON messes them up every single time.
I still see the China & APAC portions of SPS cranking out new products, EWR spins, and product re-designs though. So HON has to be shutting down US SPS operations. Charlotte is HON HQ, but any other SPS site is likely gone with that being said. Sad to see. It was once a great LOB. GK will still get his bonus, so that's good.
The plan must be to divest part, or all, of SPS.
Doesn't make sense otherwise since we can't keep projects moving forward.
Some crazy, crazy RIFS!! Project destroying RIFS. Then on top of that they enforce budget reductions for the final salvo! This is what I return too! It is clear during this force reduction mandate some Directors made decisions not based on the good of the business. I am done, the ho-e is now too deep to dig out off.
So what’s next for SPS? All the projects I am on are a huge mess- missing key players, little to no funding, and no morale after all the RIFs. And they said they want to cut more to my director. I guess innovation is too expensive these days. Over and out.
Inept management from front-line supervisors, to directors, to VPs... Things will only get worse for us remaining in SPS.
The lob integrations in SPS was so poorly managed and callously done.
At this frequency of RIFs, they won't need to pay out any matches this Christmas. The dark fiance overlords are drooling!
So I asked around my site does everyone left think the RIFFING is over and murmur is there are more rounds planned before 12/15. I don’t know how. We don’t have any manpower left. Just pull the plug on the whole site why don’t you?
BOTS and TROLLS are weeding out posts on this thread as well. Anything truthful is wiped away. Shame shame shame on you Holyhole.
Does anyone know what the mindset was behind this last layoff. Restructure? Sell off? I had to let go of 4 people in my group. That’s a 44% reduction in ISC.
How many people got let go from the Mount Laurel, NJ site? I was a PM there a few years ago. Worst job ever.
I also noticed a couple threads/replies being mysteriously gone recently. One response said something about coercion and within a couple of hours it was gone, and no names or anything mentioned. I wondered what happened, unless maybe the poster deleted it (if even able to)
@2bhj+1jFydZ1I Of course not. Only US workers were affected as usual. HOneyhe|| rules!
Is anyone from Charlotte/ Ft Mill getting sent back to their homeland?
@2gsq Charlotte & Fort Mill got slaughtered. I am hearing the names and thinking WTF.
Your post got rif. Just like you're going to get RIF before the holidays. Merry Christmas from Honeywell. You all future shapers.
Whoever's left behind can work the extra overtime cuz we won't replace the people we lay off.
I’m curious if any SPS staff in the Charlotte headquarters office got cut. Also, are these considered layoffs or terminations since I’m no longer there. So HR trolls, don’t bother to try and track me.
I’m not surprised the HON toxic managers are being told to reach out to employees about this site. Not that we can “change the world” or anything, but at least we ca spill the beans on the Ponzi scheme. Keep up the good work my fellow Honeyhe|| prisoners. Here hoping I’m on the next RIF! I want my parting gift.
Productivity Products.
What part of SPS are you talking about?
@1qaz Sounds like the SPS media site, lololol!
Really depends on the manager, there are plenty in SPS who have no idea what they are doing let alone their reports. I had to work with one that even after 2 years had no understanding of the business and just bumbled through, everything was a mess. Weirdly the senior director never challenged this, I highly suspect he was winging it also.
I’m from a small SPS site. A lot of talent was let go yesterday. It’s so sad. I don’t know how we can continue as a design center. We can’t do anything anymore. Why even keep the doors open?
Ignore the troll, if a manager knew the value of an employee they would have denied the voluntary application. Speaking from experience.
@gjw Sadly I can say for sure on a couple of them it was not voluntary, I would have been very happy for them otherwise even though it puts incredible strain on us. Now it is doubly bad.
@kib Unless you are personal friends and can be trusted unquestionably, you'll never know if those "irreplaceable guys, top talent" volunteered or not. They probably did. They would get a nice package. They probably have connections in the industry and will have a good job before their severance runs out.
I was stunned at some of the employees escorted out Friday as well. I don't understand how Honeywell can't see the value in all of that experience, only cost savings. I dread going back Monday as well as I'll be asked to try and clean up after this mess.
Friday was indeed a bloodbath. Not only a callous, cold one but also full of eye watering stupidity. We lost some irreplaceable guys, top talent that were holding things together and yet inexplicably some real wasters survived. Right now I can not even think about about the impact to our programmes, I am dreading coming back Monday. Just when I was thinking it could not get any worse.
I came back for the comments as well. I left SPS in June. Some of my old co-workers said it was a bloodbath Friday. I am hoping they got rid of some of the toxic managers as well. Would be terrible if it was just the front-line talent.
That thread mentioned names. Names are strictly forbidden on this site. Abbreviations seem to be OK. Also, if something is derogatory and provably false, it can also be taken down. Keep the names out and the tales true.
They deleted the thread!
I had a call with my certification director in phoenix, their Go To guy(caps read), and he was trying to figure out who the leaks were on this site, he said it was coming from very very top. Seems they are particularly concerned about talk of Unions and negative comments about circus clown darius. He was trying to use style, grammar, and syntax to find the leaker. I asked why they could not use the IP address? His response, "Well, I.T. is all over it, but since they are outsourced, they are slow to respond, and seems that many are using bouncing VPN's to hide their identity", I asked what is a VPN, he said "Something on how computers communicate, I am not really sure". Yea, this clown is a director, cert group and chiefs. So ignorant, he does not realize he was talking to the leak. I don't care at this point, waiting for match in December, then gone. They get me before, I don't care. Life is better outside of this toxic place.
