Either you're another HR troll (that's my bet) or just don't know what is going on in the world. You're not lucky to Honeywell, they're lucky to have you. And they'll keep on abusing you through fear and intimidation as long as you let them. There are much greener pastures out there. I found one and I'm not ever going back to that toxic sh1t show excuse of a company.

So lemme understand, we are saying regular old every day working conditions are so bad, so unbearable, that we'd prefer a Union to own us all? That's better? Right or wrong, that's a tremendous statement. Shareholders, you see that? That's how bad leadership is, bout to have unions brought on. Where do I sign up?

@2usf
Go ahead, bill your commute time to a program. Nothing like fraudulent time reporting to let Hon off the hook for severance.

With your highly sought after skill set, if you don't like the current work environment why are you here?

Maybe go to another company?

Maybe Twitter????

If they implement 100% butts in chair, I can guarantee you that they’re RevCogs will go to zero! O/T will be spent on commute.

You'd think that they would have realized that WFH employees consume fewer supplies and cause less wear and tear on their own facilities. I guess exerting control over us is more important than actual cost savings.

Where did the UNION thread go?
Hate to say it, that is the answer to this out of control company!
Union YES
All the concerns with UNION's spewed by the trolls, HR and lurking managers poopoo, but any Union can not ever be as bad as the Management at HON. Those are just the demagoguery tactics that keep you in place. Management FEARS Unions, that tells you what the solution is. Remember the WE HEAR YOU shirts! Ha, yea, they heard us, then in a millisecond forgot about us. How long will it be until big HR brother ki--s this comment?

Yes, got a similar call from my manager. He said in no un-certain terms, that I had to be in plant, and that my yield needed to increase by the end of the year. I already work 48 hours direct charge, he wants everyone at 52 minimum. Said that I should consider what is best for my career long term, with respect to the vacation I have coming. The outer "L" will be based on those items. GREAT. So now, if I take vacation, I will get PIP-ed.

My boss told us to (again) put our planned vacation time into the system. I did and then was swiftly informed that my planned year end vacation "can't be accomodated" and I have to wait and see if I can take anytime off at the end of the year. Something about aggressive targets and the VP wants everyone in town. I bet that id--t VP will be out of town skiing or working on his sun tan nowhere near Arizona.

These are not rumors. IPs are being tracked. Badge swipes are being tracked. Coming soon: mandatory set hours in the office.

Our office is a ghost town. It was slowly filling when they started pushing this mandate, they they got rid of a tonne of people (good people too), now it is a ghost town again lmao.

My manager told me the same, if I don't come in , it will be "documented to HR". I asked what that means, and she said "You don't want to find out". Sad to say, I am just going to comply, as bad as everything is, lucky to have this job.

This has been going on for several weeks and is coming from the top. They want butts in seats. Eventually they will crack down and try to push warnings. Although with the continued exodus, I don't know if it will stick. It will probably be used to get rid of employees they no longer want around.

I hav a couple coworkers were dinged for not being on site 3x a week….they were told, it’s tracked by IP address…they have to see you on the local network, not VPN, at least 3x a week….reports are pulled monthly, so algorithms check for 12 network logins per month (roughly) per month…thats what I have heard…. Aerospace group.

The person that I know that got the same call was just informed. No formal warning except that the badge in reports are being reviewed.
Being honest I think it will really be manager specific. I know a couple of managers that would use something like this as a tool for actions.

You may not like it, as many others, but leadership in Aero, was rather clear with the expectations of coming in 3 days a week especially since the covid exceptions have ended. At least in our group we were told that they will be running reports and one person has also received the feedback as you have.

Sorry, but any OT for me is at home unless needed in the lab. Go in, put in your 8 hrs, then do OT at home. If they don’t like it, then they can go pound sand…
